On President's Day we took the kids to the Kuala Gandah elephant sanctuary. It's primary purpose is to save wild elephants, by using doemsticated elephants to lead them away from human habitation and into the jungles in the interior. You can feed, pet, ride them and even swim with them. Most elephants you get to see are behind zoo fences or off in the distance in some safari park. The kids loved the up-close interaction with them. We had a really great time.
